During recording to distance them from everyday life the band took the remote Polish mountains. This new, inspiring environment proved to be the perfect setting to record, resulting in an album filled with emotional, ambient and energetic soundscapes. "Earthshine" was produced by Zbigniew Preisner, renowned as one of the Worlds formost composers of music for film and theatre.

There's something strange but beautiful about "Ikaros", the opening song. It's subdued, but incredibly sentiment inspiring just the same -- like the musical equivalent of the Aurora Borealis. I can literally listen to the melody refrain at 4:10 for literally hours on repeat. John Doe
